Offices and shops in one of the major streets in Winchester. Three large brick arches face the street, each with a set of three first-floor arches inset. One large arch gives access to a recessed entrance and a small car park, as the building goes deep into the site. Designed in 1980, this was one of Robert Adam’s first major projects and brought his work to the attention of architecture critics and received a Civic Trust Commendation in 1984.
