A significant building on one of the major thoroughfares in London. The new office and retail building goes from the wide and renowned Piccadilly, around an narrow alley by an important 17th century church to the narrower Jermyn Street, the facades changing subtly in detail and materials. It is a predominantly stone building with interlocking classical orders, some with special column capitals designed by famous sculptor, Alexander Stoddart. A corner tower and a rooftop glazed ‘temple’ give a unique character from long views, close-to the fine detail in marble, different stones and bronze give a richness to the facades. The building received a Georgian Group award in 2008, for a New Building in the Classical Tradition.
