A simple classical house in traditional Scottish materials: harling (a rough-cast render) walls and a slate roof. Classical details are reduced to a minimum with a combination of stone and colour variation in the harling which give the building a robust character typical of the area. A unique concave storm porch gives the entrance a unique individuality.
